Introduction to Multiplayer

Truck & Logistics Simulator offers full 24 player cross-platform multiplayer!

You must own at least 1 vehicle to play in multiplayer. Once selected your vehicle you will choose what region you would like to connect to. The Europe server is the most populated and recommended one. For those outside the country, you do not need to worry about having a bad ping. Once connected you will be presented a few options:

Join Random Game: Joins a random game lobby

Show Game List: Shows every lobby on the connected server

Create Game: Allows you to make a game lobby

Join Hidden Room:
Allows you to connect to a hidden room (more info below)

Once you find a lobby you like, connect and have fun!

Hidden Rooms

Hidden rooms are private rooms you can make for you and your friends. When creating a game lobby, you have the option to make it hidden. This means that your lobby will not appear on the Game List. Instead players will need to select Join Hidden Room and then enter the room name (that you make when creating the room) to join. Additionally the room name will always be displayed on the left side of your screen when in-game.

Starting a Mission

Once you get everyone together, its time to start a mission! It is best to have a truck pick the mission. The reason is that there are separate locations for small vehicles (cars, vans, pickups, etc) and bigger vehicles (trucks and rigid trucks). If a smaller vehicle starts a mission, and the destination is small cargo only, trucks will not be able to go. They will need to use the Owned Vehicles and All Vehicles tab to pick a mission with a different vehicle. So it is best for trucks to start a mission, as every large cargo destination is also a small cargo destination.

Once 1 player starts a mission, everyone in the area will receive an invitation. Once accepted they will be able to pick what cargo they want to deliver. All missions have the same destination! Now you are all convoying to the same destination. Once everyone has unloaded all their cargo, its time to start again!

Convoy Escorts

All cars, pickups, mini-vans, and panel-vans have purchasable convoy equipment, this can be bought in the garage. If you want to be a convoy escort, switch to that vehicle. Once you receive an invitation from another player, one of the available missions you can pick will be an escort one. Now you can lead the convoy! Note: convoy escorts cannot start a mission, make sure to have a truck start one!

Moderation

Trolls are always present in every game. So we give you moderation tools to help! Located in the player list you will find 3 options: Disable Collisions, Block, and Report. Disabling collisions will disable collisions with the selected player so that you can pass through them without damaging your truck and cargo. Additionally that player will not be able to hit you. Blocking will hide that player from the room entirely. Their truck, trailer, and name will completely disappear. Reporting will send a report to our moderation team. If there is a player causing serious issues, please reach out to us on our discord server, we are here to help!

Additional Tips

Late to the convoy? Use fast travel to catch up with everyone! (Use navigate to the point + displayed hotkey in the pause menu when in the game lobby)

If after joining a mission, your vehicle or cargo are overlapping with another player, restart the mission from the pause menu. Doing so will respawn you on another spawn point.

The mission invite screen will refresh for everyone that joins. The nickname shown will update every time a player joins that mission. Check the map to see if the invites are going to the same target as the event admin.

To reduce the chance of overlapping spawns, try not to get the same mission as everyone else. We encourage users to use Trucks as they have the largest variety of missions. On the occasion a mission is started that you do not have a supported vehicle for, use the Owned Vehicles and All Vehicles tab to change.

Convoy Escort tasks: Help block AI traffic / roads / and other obstacles so your fellow drivers make it to their destination safely.

If someone arrives late and wants to join, you can restart your mission as doing so will automatically send an invite to players around you

See you on the road!
